Aaron J. Lofton Sr.

Services for Aaron J. Lofton Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Dr. Charles Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville.

Lofton Sr., 80, of Pineville, died Sunday, July 29, 2001, in his residence.

He was the former owner and operator of Lofton's TV Service in Olla for many years. He also retired as a training specialist at Pinecrest Development Center in Pineville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ollie Lofton two sisters, Minnie Smith and Beatrice Iles and one brother, Herbert Lofton.

Survivors include his wife, Agatha Honeycutt Lofton of Pineville four sons, Aaron Lofton Jr. of Waterloo, Wis., Terrance Corley Lofton and Everret Clifton Lofton, both of Pineville, and Timothy Michael Lofton of Joaquin, Texas two daughters, Joye Ross of Port Neches, Texas, and Agatha LaVerne Dillon of Monroe, Conn. four brothers, W.B. Lofton of Nederland, Texas, Harvey Lofton of Houston, Fred Lofton of Port Arthur, Texas, and Johnny Lofton of Groves, Texas three sisters, Willie Vay Williams of Colfax, Hazel Dammon of Port Arthur, Texas, and Ruth Semple of Evans, Ga. and 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Ross, Wayne Ross, Dan Ross, Corley Lofton, Aaron Ross and David Tarver.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
