BISHOP
On Thursday, August 29, 1957, at 10 o'clock p.m., ABBIE SIMMONS, wife of the late James L. Bishop, mother of Mrs. Charles Nolan of New Orleans, La., James A. Bishop of San Francisco, Calif., and Karl L. Bishop of Nashville, Tenn., sister of Mrs. C. H. Bracken and C. J. Simmons of Newton, Miss., also survived by six grandchildren.
Remains were taken from the home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, Inc., 4127 South Claiborne Ave. (parking entrance on Milan Street), on Saturday, August 31, 1957, to Newton, Miss. for services.
Interment in Antioch cemetery.
