Funeral services for Abner A. Kelly, 79, of 1419 Bowie, are pending with the Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.
Mr. Kelly died Sunday afternoon in Highland Hospital in Lubbock.
A resident of Amarillo since 1924, Mr. Kelly retired from the oil business in [1959?] when he entered the real estate business. A World War I veteran, he was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Manilla; three brothers, Ras of Idalou, Fred of Lubbock and Oda of Brownfield; and five sisters, Mrs. Lottie Ferrar [sic Farrar] of Anton, Mrs. Dessie Jones and Mrs. Elfie Felts, both of Snyder, Mrs. Ruby Carr of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Rosa Holt, address unavailable.

Funeral services for Abner A. Kelly, 79, of 1914 Bowie, who had been an Amarillo resident since 1924, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Leel Smith of the Westminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Llano Masoleum [sic Mausoleum].
A retired oil and real estate man, Mr. Kelly died Sunday in Highland Hospital in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife, three brothers and five sisters.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until one hour before the service. The casket will be closed for the service.
