Achsah Thrasher Prince

MAPLEWOOD, LA. - Services for Mrs. Achsah Thrasher Prince, 80, of Maplewood, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday December 18 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. Dr. Herb Dickerson will officiate. Burial will be at Little Hope Cemetery in Castor, La.

Mrs. Prince died Sunday December 15, 1985, at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Maplewood after a long illness. Mrs. Prince was an accountant for a Jonesboro automotive dealership in Jonesboro and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, where she was active in all church activities, for a number of years.

She is survived by one son, W.R. “Bill” Prince, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas; one daughter, Bettye Gilbert of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
