Ada Juanita Hanes
TIPTON (Staff) -- Services for Mrs. Carroll (Ada Juanita) Hanes, 53-year-old housewife of Rt. One, Manitou, who was killed Friday at 8:30 a.m. in an auto accident near here, will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Church of Christ with Stacey Carter, minister, officiating.
Burial, under direction of Pecinosky Funeral Home, will be in the Tipton Cemetery.
She was born July 31, 1913, at Butler, Okla., and moved to Gainesville, Tex., with her parents. She later moved to Stonewall, Okla.
She was married Nov. 31, 1934, at Duncan to Carroll W. Hanes adn [sic and] they moved to Manitou where they made their home except for a brief residence in Washita.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Victory Home Demonstration Club and the Rose Unit of the Tipton Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband and a daughter, Sussie Lynn Hanes, both of the home; two sons, Carroll Dean Hanes of Arlington, Tex., and Larry Don Hanes of Manitou; three sisters, Mrs. Max Murrell of Duncan, Mrs. R. N. Murrell and Mrs. Dean Hanes, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Callaway of Springdale, Ark., and Charles Callaway of Manitou, and two grandchildren.
