HENDERSON -- Services for Addie Carter Birdwell, 91, of Henderson will be 10 a.m. Friday at Bryan Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Raymond Bugg officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Henderson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Birdwell died Wednesday morning in a Henderson nursing home after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 18, 1899, in Trinity County and was a lifetime resident of Rusk County. She was a homemaker and a member of West Main Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Henry; sons, John of Henderson and Baker of Grapeland; daughters, Mary Ann Ridlehuber of Euless and Jeanelle Huckfelt of Henderson; brother, Ed Childress of Henderson; a number of nieces and nephews; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
