ADell Cox

JONESVILLE -- Services for ADell Cox will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Young's with the Rev. Lester Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Heard Cemetery, Manifest.

Cox, 59, of Parhams Community died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, in his residence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Denzil Cox; an infant son and his wife, Shirley Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Naumie Rice Cox of Parhams Community; one daughter, Rachel Riley of Baton Rouge; one stepdaughter, Juanita Magee of Parhams; one stepson, Charles E. Burley of Princeton; his mother, Laverne Cox of Wildsville; two sisters, Vonnie Spinks of Jonesville and Carole Gisler of Salem, Ala.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Holland, Ricky Rice, Virgil Cox, Chris Ryan, Greg Spinks, Wesley Brown, Benny Ramsey and Jerry Gentry.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
