Ex-Alexandrian Killed in Texas

Funeral services were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, for Alan Ray Williams, 44, of Hughes Spring, Tex.

Williams, a native of Alexandria, was killed Wednesday in an auto accident at Wascom [sic Waskom], Tex. He was a carman helper with Texas Northern Railway.

Survivors include a brother, Gordon [sic Gorden] W. Williams of Hughes Spring; two sisters, Mrs. T. J. O'Neal and Mrs. John H. Despino, both of Hughes Spring, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Williams of Tioga.

Burial was to be in Tioga cemetery.
