Albert Cleveland Brown
THREE RIVERS -- Albert Cleveland Brown, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, in Pascagoula.
Mr. Brown was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Scott County and was a retired pipefitter for Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Lou White Brown; his parents, Isaac C. and Naoma Ruth Brown; a son, Sherman Brown; a daughter, Aberdeen Brown; four brothers, Cecil O. Brown, Woodrow P. Brown, Joel R. Brown and John Richard Brown; and a sister, Elizabeth MaGee.
Survivors include two daughters, Katie Jeanette Powell of Three Rivers and Lee Oma Thomas of Hurley; a sister, Hazel Harrell of Lake; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 8 tonight at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church where friends may call two hours before service time. Another visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Colonial Funeral Home in Forrest. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake. Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point is in charge of local arrangements.
The family prefers memorials to the Four Mile Creek Baptist Church Bible Fund.

PASCAGOULA -- Albert Cleveland Brown, 85, a retired pipefitter with Ingalls Ship Building, died of heart failure Tuesday at Singing River Hospital.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was a Scott County native. He was a member of Four Mile Creek Baptist Church in Escatawpa. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
