ALBERT FRANKLIN MAPLES

FERRIDAY, Jan. 22 (Special) -- Albert Franklin Maples, 46, died at his home in Cash Bayou Sunday morning about 1 a.m.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Cash Bayou church with Rev. Leslie Keys officiating. Interment followed in Huffman Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Katie Maples; four sons, Bobby, Erving, Albert and Shelby Maples, all of Cash Bayou; four daughters, Nellie, Martha, Carrie, and Gloria Maples, all of Cash Bayou; six sisters, Mrs. Susie Horton of Orange, Tex., Mrs. Nancy Fields of Monroe, Mrs. Matilda Gaheau [sic McGaughey] of San Antonia [sic Antonio], Tex., Mrs. Alice Drummer of Shreveport, Mrs. Mollie Tarver of Clayton, and Mrs. Sallie Reeves of Oak Grove; three brothers, John Maples of Ferriday, Butler Maples of Lake St. John, and Bullard of Cash Bayou.
