Albert Marion Tyler, Sr.
SHREVEPORT - Services for Mr. Albert Marion Tyler, Sr., 86, of Shreveport, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday April 6 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. The Rev. Robert Manning, pastor of Parkview Baptist Church, where Mr. Tyler was a member, will officiate. Burial will be at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, La.
Mr. Tyler died Tuesday, April 5, 1988, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Taylor, Ark. and was a former resident of Haynesville, La. Mr. Tyler had lived in Shreveport for the past 30 years and was retired as a dispatcher for Halliburton Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rush C. Tyler of Shreveport; and one niece.
Pallbearers will be John Dark, Alton Brown, George Crain, Darwin T. Crain, Charlie Crain and Stanley Ferguson.
Family suggest memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church.
