Albert P. Smith

JENA (Special) -- Time and date of funeral services for Albert Percy Smith, 67, who died Monday in Heritage Manor Nursing Home after a short illness, are yet to be set by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

A retired employe of Urania Lumber Company, Mr. Smith had been a Newellton resident three years.

The Revs. Clyde Grayson and James Hammett will officiate at services in Belah Methodist Church and burial will be in the church cemetery.

In addition to his widow, Mrs. Effie Ford Smith of Newellton, he is survived by two sons, John A. and A. B. Smith of Louisville, Ky.; two stepsons, Millard Nichols of Newellton and James H. Nichols of Lubbock, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Bayer of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Estelle Williams of Winnsboro; one brother, Morris Smith of Jena; two half-brothers, William and Joseph Coon of Trout; six sisters, Mrs. Mattie Taylor of Jonesville, Mrs. Mary Graham of Jena, Mrs. Lillie Smith and Mrs. Addie Coon of Jena, Mrs. Bertha Alexander of Jonesville and Mr. Blanche Mizell of Forest Hill; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
