Richard Volentine

COLUMBIA -- Funeral services were at 11 a.m. today at Riser and Son Funeral Home for Richard Volentine, 54, of 110 Jerry St., West Monroe.

The Rev. A. B. Douglas officiated with burial at Mount Rose Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son.

Mr. Volentine died at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice Volentine of West Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Claunch, Mrs. Eunice Ainsworth, Mrs. Betty Elliott, all of Monroe, and Mrs. Judy Flores of Columbia; a son, Billy Wayne Stegall of West Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Manly of Columbia, Mrs. Allen Ferrington of Riverton, Mrs. Mildred Braddock of Monroe and Mrs. Verland Volentine of Richland, Calif.; two brothers, Cecil Volentine of Richmond and Arvil Volentine of Bridge City, Tex.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
