Funeral services for Alcee Lafayette ``Pete'' Peters, 89, of DeRidder
will be Monday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church
in DeRidder with the Revs. Rickey Ross, Clayton Bond and Jon Telliferro
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Beauregard Cemetery under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
He died Friday,
Jan. 24, in the Beauregard Rehab & Retirement Center in DeRidder. He
retired as U.S. Army Colonel at Fort Polk in 1969.
He is survived by
his wife, Elizabeth Peters of DeRidder; one son, James Peters of Lake
Oswego, Ore.; and one daughter, Alice Frost of Elizabethtown, K.Y.
