Mrs. Alda Mecom

ZACHARY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Alda H. Mecom, 65, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Wisner, were to be at 11 a.m. today at Charlet Funeral Home of Zachary with graveside services following at the Holly Grove Cemetery near Wisner with the Rev. A. D. St. Amant officiating.

Mrs. Mecom died at her residence Sunday after a short illness.

Survivors include one son, Sidney A. Mecom of Jonesboro, Ark.; one daughter, Mrs. Sarah Smith of Baton Rouge; one brother, Albert Harrell of Dallas, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Daigle of Houston, Tex.; and four grandchildren.
