ALDER D. ARROWOOD
Alder D. Arrowood, 86, of Laurel, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1996, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sandersville Baptist Church in Sandersville, with burial in Sandersville Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Parker will officiate.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sandersville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Maxwell; her second husband, Eugene H. Arrowood; two brothers, James Tucker and Elvie Tucker; and one sister, Ester Causey.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Lucille Dunn of Midnight; two brothers, J. C. Tucker of Sandersville, and Eugene Tucker of Charleston; one niece, Gertrude Johnson of Laurel; a host of other nieces and nephews; and a host of grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ben Johnson, George Smith, Pat Hickson, W. R. Temple, Bob Armstrong and Wade Robinson.
The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
