Alex G. McCarty Dies In Texas

Funeral services for Alex G. McCarty, 59, former resident of Mississippi, were held at the First Methodist Church of Wichita Falls, Texas, where he was a member.

He was a resident of that city and died there suddenly.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agnes Hughes McCarty, a son, Allen G. McCarty, a daughter, Beverly McCarty, all of Wichita Falls; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. McCarty, Quitman; three brothers, W. A. and C. E. McCarty, both of Wichita Falls, and T. H. McCarty, Oklahoma City; five sisters, Mrs. Katie Lee Waddell, Crystal Springs, Miss Louise McCarty, Quitman, Mrs. Mary Walker, Hattiesburg, Miss Sarah McCarty, New Orleans, and Mrs. Ruth Kean, Clarksdale.

Four of the sisters attended the services for their brother.
