Gilbert Man's Life Ends At His Home Friday Afternoon

A lingering illness took the life last Friday of Alexander T. Norwood, Gilbert resident, at the age of 72. Mr. Norwood died at his home.

Services for the deceased were conducted at his home Saturday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Leo McLemore, Wisner Baptist church, officiating. Interment was made in Oakley cemetery.

The Winnsboro Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Norwood is survived by his wife, who is living in Gilbert; and three sons, Asa Norwood, Winnsboro, Horace Norwood, Gilbert, and Lee Norwood, also of Gilbert.

Pallbearers were E. H. Huggins, Joe McDuff, Troy Greer, W. L. Walters, Cal Hammonds and John Gwin.
