Rites To Be Today For Mr. Elliott

Mr. Alfred Leonard Elliott, 71, retired farmer, died at the Ruston home of his son Wednesday morning.

Funeral services were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the New Hope Methodist Church near Dodson with the Rev. Roy Grant and the Rev. A. Geter officiating.

Burial was to be held in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Edmond's Funeral Home.

Survivors include one son, Keith Elliott of Ruston; one brother, Rush Elliott of Knobs Master, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Conn of Winnfield, Mrs. Mary Flowers of Jena and Mrs. Rosa Branch of Dodson; and three grandchildren.

A. L. Elliott, 71, Gaars Mill Native, Dies

Alfred Leonard Elliott, 71, of Ruston, died Wednesday, December 27, 1967 at his home. He was a retired farmer and a native of Gaars Mill.

He is survived by a son, Keith Elliott of Ruston; a brother, Rush Elliott of Knobs Master, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Conn of Winnfield, Mrs. Mary Flowers of Jena, and Mrs. Rosa Branch of Dodson; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m Friday in New Hope Methodist Church near Dodson by Rev. Roy Grant and Rev. Alson Jeter. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
