Olla Citizen Passed Away

Mr. A. L. Gravette [sic Grivette], 81, of Olla passed away at 10:30 a.m. last Thursday in the Caldwell Hospital. Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. last Friday in the New Bethel Cemetery, Clarks, with Rev. L. B. Jones, pastor of the Olla [B]aptist Church officiating.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Brown, of Olla, Mrs. Erville Scribner, Clarks, and Mrs. Gordon Jones, of Olla. One son, Hubert Grivette, of Ukiab [sic Uriah], Calif, 2 sisters, Mrs. J. M. Franklin of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Zoa Hann of Redbud, Ill., one brother, C. H. Grivette, of Rayville, La. and 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Interment was made in New Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, La.
