ALFRED RAY McDANIEL

Wiggins, Aug. 4. -- Funeral services were held here Thursday afternoon for Alfred Ray McDaniel, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus McDaniel of Wiggins, who died Wednesday following an illness of several weeks. He was a member of the Methodist church, the Royal Ambassadors and Go Hawks, a boys' club. He was enrolled in the ninth grade in the Wiggins school.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Roland Miles and Miss Mary Alice McDaniel, one brother, Herschel McDaniel, and other relatives.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. W. Porter, assisted by Rev. N. J. Lee. Go Hawk members were honorary pall bearers.
