Alice M. Stovall

BATON ROUGE -- Funeral services for Alice M. Stovall, 82, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in Broadmoor United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport under the direction of Rabenhorst East Funeral Home.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church.

Mrs. Stovall died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, in a Baton Rouge hospital.

She was a native of Tulsa, Okla. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She served in Methodist churches in Eunice, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Metairie and Monroe. She worked for 19 years as a caseworker for the state Office of Family Services.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. James Stovall; one son, James L. Stovall II; three daughters, Mrs. Milo (Mary Alice Richard) Ballard, Mrs. Julio (Sally Emerick) Rodriguez, and Mrs. Pete (Carol) Broussard; one brother, Robert L. Mills; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
