ALICE MAE TEMPLE

Funeral services for Alice Mae Welch Temple, 81, of Winnsboro, LA a homemaker will be 11:00 AM Friday in Gill Chapel with Rev. Paul Perry and Rev. Jerry Goodman officiating. Visitation will be Friday 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Alice Mae was born on October 4, 1934 in Winnsboro, LA to the union of Brownie and Nannie Emerson welch, and was called to her Heavenly home Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Alice Mae was a member of Bayou Macon Baptist Church for 62 years where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers O. J. Sikes, Noah B. Welch, Dennis Ray Welch, Billy Fay Welch, Truman Welch; and son: Kim Randall Temple .

Alice Mae is survived by her husband of 63 years Nolan Temple if Winnsboro, LA; son Michael Temple and wife Bobbie of Gilbert, LA; sister Helen Welch Morrison, of Monroe, LA; three grandchildren Justin Temple of Pensacola, FL, Jacklyn Temple Harris of Wisner, LA, and Jeremy Temple of Monroe, LA; three great grandchildren Colton Spence, Madelyn Temple, and Karaline Temple and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are: Donnie Temple, Jeremy Temple, Justin Temple, Matthew Bass, Ronnie Morrison, and Tommy Temple.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Lonnie Welch, Pete Welch, and Travis Welch.
