Mrs. Alice Dumas Dies in Hospital

Mrs. Alice Victoria Dumas died at 7 p.m. Thursday in a hospital here. She was a native of Mize, Miss., and a resident here. She was the owner and operator of Peter's Flower Shope and the widow of J. Stanley Dumas.

Active in civic and professional clubs, she was a charter member and past president of the Quota Club of Alexandria and past district governor, Quota International. She was also a member of the Alexandria Business and Professional Womens Club and of the American Business Women Assn., Cenla chapter.

Survivors include a son, Josesph F. Peters of Huntsville, Ala.; a sister, Mrs. Fannie M. Cox of Ruston and two grandchildren.
