ALLEN B. PRATT
The body of Allen B. Pratt, who was killed by a train on the L. & N. railroad at Helena about 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon was brought to Rocky church, four miles northeast of Centerville, Thursday and after funeral services buried in the Rocky cemetery.
The deceased was a cousin of Judge W. L. Pratt, Probate Judge of Bibb county and was otherwise prominently connected to this county. He was an expert geologist and had spent considerable time on the oil fields of Texas and Louisiana. He had faith in the probability of oil developments in Alabama.
He left surviving him three daughters, all of whom are married.
