Allen L. Lincecum
July 29, 1928 - May 14, 2015

Funeral services celebrating the life of Allen L. Lincecum will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Reverend Bruce Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Creek Cemetery, Pollock. Visitation will be observed from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Lincecum, 86, of Pollock, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Allen proudly served his country in the United States Navy and during his working life was a Locomotive Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years. He was a member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria for 21 years and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lincecum; a grandson, Clint Kirkland; parents, Dan and Noda Nugent Lincecum; brother, Dan Lincecum, Jr. and a sister, Faye Quaid.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Roberts Lincecum; son, Stephen Lincecum and wife, Letitia; daughters, Sharon Zeh, Linda Powell and husband, Phil, Rebecca Durand and husband, Darrell; step daughters, Donna Sanchez and Carla Daigle and husband, Donald; brother, Johnny Lincecum and wife, Connie; sisters, Madge Olden and Colotta Banes; grandchildren, Taylor Beavers, Mercedez Montgomery, Ryan Durand; great grandchildren, Grey Montgomery, Griffin Montgomery and Austin Kirkland; step grandchildren, Rebecca Sanchez, Leslie Weatherford, Randi Pitre, Savannah Weatherford, Bethany Weatherford, Joshua Dizitte, Jonathan Pearce, Autumn Pearce; 8 step great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Phil Powell, Darrell Durand, Taylor Beavers, Ryan Durand, Mark Olden and Donald Daigle.

The family has designated Big Creek Cemetery Association, P O Box 271, Dry Prong, LA 71423, for memorial contributions.
