Mr. Allen Johnson Dead

Late Saturday afternoon Mr. Allen Putnam Johnson, one of Meadow's citizens, died at his home. The burial took place Sunday afternoon in the family burial ground near his home, the funeral services being conducted by Elder J. B. Lee of Wilson.

Mrs. Johnson was about seventy-five years old and was survived by a wife and three children. He was a member of Primitive Baptist Church for about thirty-five years and was a leader of that church.
