ALLIE PHILLIPS

Allie J. Phillips, 73, of Polkville, formerly of Morton, died last Wednesday at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

The funeral was Friday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Burial was in Ueltschey Cemetery in Scott County. The Revs. Otis Moore and W.L. Owens officiated.

Mrs. Phillips had lived in the Morton area most of her life, but was a resident of Polkville for the past four years. She was a member of the Morton Church of God.

She is survived by her widower, Caley R. Phillips of Polkville; two sons, Darwin Harrell of Polkville and Glen M. Phillips of Pearl; four daughters, Nadine Wilborn of Polkville, Peggy Jolley of Brandon, Faye Carpenter of Florence and Deborah Blackwell of Houston, Texas.

She is also survived by three brothers, Floyd Irby of Pearl, and Roy H. Renfroe and George Renfroe, both of Gulfport; four sisters, Mrs. Plummer (Iris) Phillips of Morton, Mrs. Thomas (Lucille) Blanton of Jackson, Louise O'Reily of Gulfport and Mrs. Harold (Bessie Kate) Windham of Laurel; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of the arrangements.
