Allie Little Walker

Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Little Walker were held Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. from Barham Funeral Home Chapel, Newton Co. with the Rev. Steve Poncey officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Walker, 98, of Newton died Sunday, October 7, 2001 at Newton Regional Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, James and Polly Walker of Rose Hill, Alton and Shelby Walker of Harlem, GA and Dan and Nita Walker of Newton; one daughter, Ouida and Walter Powell of Meridian; eight grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild; one step-great son and 1 great grandson; two brothers, Claude and Clyde Little, both of Enterprise and one brother-in-law.
