Alma C. Jones

ALEXANDRIA -- Funeral services for Alma C. Jones, 75, of Alexandria, were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria, with Dr. R. Houston Smith officiating.

Mrs. Jones died Monday in Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria after a brief illness.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Blackman, Alexandria; one brother, Rodney Dawty [sic Dowty], Montgomery; three sisters, Mrs. H. B. Beachant, Shreveport, Mrs. Payne Harrison, Montgomery, and Mrs. Guy Barr, Sterlington; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
