MRS. J. F. BOWEN

Mrs. J. F. Bowen, 70, of 2625 Murray St., died in a local hospital at 1 p.m. Friday following a short illness.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home, but were incomplete late last night.

Services will be at the Midway Baptist Church in Jonesboro, with interment in the Midway Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. Bowen is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. L. Nash and Mrs. L. H. Foley, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. B. L. Light of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sons, Fred Bowen of Grand Cane, James Bowen, Ray Bowen, and Aswell Bowen, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. G. L. Womack of Bossier City, Mrs. G. B. Kidd of Sikes, La., and Mrs. L. T. Wewson [sic Newsom] of Lake Charles; one brother, J. M. Emmons of Carthage, Tex.; and seven grandchildren.
