Mrs. Alma Work, Former Resident Of Liberty, Dies

Mrs. Alma Work, a former resident of Liberty, was buried Tuesday afternoon in the Moss Hill cemetery with Rev. Bill Phillips of the Texas City Baptist Church officiating.

Services were conducted in the Allison Funeral chapel of Liberty.

Mrs. Work died Sunday morning at her Houston residence, 6612 Avenue T. She was 48 vears old.

Survivors include her husband, W, W. Work of Houston; four sons, Delmar Lightfoot, Denver, Colo., J. B. Lightfoot, Houston, Richard Lightfoot, Pearland, and Alton Lightfoot, Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Carpenter, Springfield, Ill., Mrs, Mildred Rayburn, Midland, Tex., Miss Betty Faye Lightfoot, Houston, and Miss Patsy Belle Lightfoot, Abilene; one brother, Guy Emmons, Los Angeles; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Shull, Diamond, Mo., and ten grandchildren.
