MRS. ALMA G. WATSON WILL BE BURIED HERE

The remains of Mrs. Alma Grisham Watson arrived in Natchez at 10:25 o'clock last night from New Orleans.

Mrs. Watson passed away in that city at 7:30 o'clock last Thursday evening, following an illness of only a few days' duration. Her death came as a severe shock to her loved ones and to a host of friends, for she represented the very highest type of gentle Christian womanhood, a devoted wife and mother, a loving sister and an affectionate and loyal friend. This young woman's death has brought deep sadness into many hearts.

Mrs. Watson was the daughter of the late W. D. and Mrs. Minnie Grisham. She is survived by her husband, Oliver L. Watson, three small children, A. C. Oliver, [O.] L. Jr., and Elizabeth Watson, four sisters, Mrs. F. C. Sanford and Miss Geneva Watson of Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. W. S. Ball, Lismore, La.; Mrs. J. K. Walton, Jr. of Anna, Iills; also two brothers, L. M. Grisham of this city and W. D. Grisham of Gunnison, Miss.

A large concourse of friends from St. Joseph, La., Mrs. Watson's home, reached Natchez last night to attend the funeral services. Services will be held at Trinity Church this afternoon at four o'clock, Rev. Joseph Kuehnle officiating.

Deep sympathy is felt for the family.

Interment in the city cemetery.
