Jean Kerr Dillehay
Mrs. Jean Kerr Dillehay, 83, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at her residence on Knud Drive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. William Rolman, Rev. Frank Webb and Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Grady Kerr and Faye Holt Kerr. Mrs. Dillehay had been employed at Anderson Brothers, W.T. Grant Department Store and Holloway's Dress Shop. She was a member of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Oscar Dillehay of Columbia; her daughter, Carlene (Randy) Messick of Columbia; sons, David (Pam) Dillehay of Hendersonville, Jerry Dillehay of Columbia; grandchildren, Beth Perko (Scotty) Eastep, Richard (Tabby) Perko, Ashley Perko (Jeffrey) Whiteside, Brent (Christy) Dillehay, Scott (Kristy) Dillehay, Kelsey Dillehay, Carmen (Brent) Allred, Courtney Dillehay, Angie (Jason) Cavanagh, Alex Messick; twelve great grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma Thomas of Brentwood.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Brownie Dickson and Ruth Poplin.
Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
