Funeral services for Alma ``Lou'' Buchan, 58, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Father Roy Myers officiating. Interment will follow at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Lou Buchan was born October 26, 1951 in Wisner, LA and passed away Thursday November 19, 2009 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a Homemaker, and a member of the St. Columbus Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in Death by:
Father-Sydney Martin
Mother-Clara Bell (Mulkey) Martin
Brother-David Martin.
Survivors include:
Husband-Lynn Buchan of Winnsboro, La.
2 sons-Jeff Martin and wife Kim of Rockhill, SC
Steve Carroll and wife Wanda of Winnsboro, LA
Daughter-Shanon Lauderman of Winnsboro, La
2 brothers-Robert Martin of Winnsboro, LA
Willard Martin and wife Donna of Wisner, LA
2 Special Friends-Peggy Ezell of Wisner, LA
Linda Delaughter of Winnsboro, LA
She was also survived by 8 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
The Pallbearers will be Billy Smith, Tony Stephenson, Dennis Smith, Josh Smith.
The family will receive friends at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2009.
