Mrs. Alma Mae Rolen

Mrs. Alma Mae Rolen, 50, a resident of Winnsboro, died suddenly at her residence on September 24 at 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, in the Boeuf River Baptist Church at Liddieville, with the Rev. T.J. Ratcliff officiating.

Surviving Mrs. Rolen are her husband, J.R. Rolen, Winnsboro; four sons, James, Herman and David Rolen, all of Winnsboro, and Louis Rolen, U. S. army, Alaska; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine Dove of Winnsboro; four grandchildren; a brother, John Williams, Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. Alpha Porter, Germany; three half-sisters and three half-brothers.

Pallbearers were Cecil Russell, Hezekiah Bryant, J. P. Neely, Jeff Hawsey, L. R. Hatton, Ira Parks, Jess Fain and Dennis Killens.

Interment was in Ogden Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
