MRS. ALMA ULM

Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Ulm, 77, Ovett, were held Monday, 2 p.m. from Ovett Baptist Church with burial in Ovett Cemetery. The Revs. L. C. Holcomb and Billy Johnson officiated.

Mrs. Ulm died Sunday in a Laurel nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Ovett and was a member of Ovett Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Herbert Diffley, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Tillman Brashier, Shubuta; three sons: Edward Finch, Ovett; Billy McCarty, San Francisco, Calif.; Amos McCarty, Lewiston, Idaho; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Lawrence Moore, Laurel; Mrs. Floyd Walters, Ovett; one brother, Aubrey Thompson, Ovett; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
