Almond McNeil

Almond McNeil, 84, of Bay Springs, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs. Funeral services were held Monday, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Louin. A retired farmer, he was a member of Kingston Assembly of God. He served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armstrong McNeil and Eula Meeks.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bourliea McNeil of Bay Springs; four sons, Glenn Earl McNeil, Michael John McNeil and Joseph Austin McNeil, all of Bay Springs, and Phillip Almond McNeil of Louin; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs was in charge of arrangements.
