ALONZO L. DICKERSON

ELLISVILLE, Miss. -- Funeral services for Alonzo L. Dickerson, 70, Rt. 2, Raleigh, were held 4 p.m. Sunday from the Cedar Grove Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Jones Funeral Home of Ellisville was in charge.

Dickerson died Saturday in Jasper General Hospital. He was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lilla Bowman Dickerson, Raleigh; two sons: Billy Dickerson, Rt. 2, Louin; Haskel Dickerson, Gautier; one step-son, Jimmy Bowman, Chesapeake, Va.; four daughters: Mrs. Preston (Cora) Gregory, Ocean Springs; Mrs. Hubert (Isabelle) Gregory, Rt. 2, Raleigh; Mrs. Bobby (Ruth) May and Mrs. Jerry (Bobbie) McPhail, both of Pascagoula; two step-daughters: Mrs. Donald (Billie Sue) Poklick, Lake Villa, Ill., and Mrs. Allen (Frances) Wetzel, St. Louis, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; one brother, Monroe Dickerson, Rt. 2, Raleigh; three sisters: Mrs. Tom Evans, Taylorsville; Mrs. Bill Ivy, Jackson, and Mrs. Henry Garretts, Rt. 2, Raleigh.
