Rites Today For Alson D. Wall

Funeral services for Alson D. Wall, 70, of 1612 Wellerman Road in West Monroe, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Revs. John Raynaud and A. T. Mitchell were to officiate with burial in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe.

Mr. Wall died Thursday morning at Glenwood Hospital after a sudden illness. A retired postal clerk, Mr. Wall was a member of Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maudie Wall of West Monroe; two brothers, Aubrey Wall of Tullos and Kenneth F. Wall of Jennings; one sister, Mrs. Eva Jone[s] of Sikes; and eight nephews.
