Alta Marie Baise Kelly

Alta Marie Baise Kelly, 88, of Greenville passed away July 14, 2011 at Briarcliff Health Center. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. Larry Jordan officiating. Private interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Born January 28, 1923 in Greenville, Marie was the daughter of Martin Talmage and Eva Smith Barker. On January 7, 1939 in Rockwall, she married Edd Baise. He preceded her in death, and she later married Lonnie Kelly who also preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her granddaughter Mellanie Hargrove and husband, Tommy and children Kaylee and Kyle; granddaughter Misty Patterson and husband, Bill and children Mia and Haylee; grandson Mike Simpson and wife, Lisa and children Michael, Garrett, Kendria, Alexis, and Sydney and her husband, Jason Long; and great-great-grandson Brody Long.

In addition to her late husbands, she was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Charlotte Dowler on 4/5/2010 and two brothers, M.T. and Billy Barker.
