Alton Crain
COLUMBIA -- Services for Alton “Pete” Crain will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Riser and Son with the Revs. Joey Bignar and James Simons officiating. Burial will be in Old Hebron Cemetery, near Sikes.
Crain, 65, of Olla died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday in Hardtner Medical Center, Urania, after a brief illness.
He was a member of Standard Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Falgo Corp., Olla, and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Olla. He was also a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Golden Harris Crain of Olla; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Shelby Stephens of Houston; one brother, I. Carlton Crain of West Monroe; three sisters, Beulah Roberts of Grayson, Eula West of Minden and Edna Newell of Clarks; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today in the funeral home.
