ALTON PARKER SIMONS

Alton Parker Simons, 75, Ellisville, died this morning at his residence.

The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Jones Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Ellisville Cemetery. The Rev. Tom McCurley will officiate.

He was a lifetime resident of Jones County and a member of the West Ellisville Baptist Church. He was a retired sawmill operator.

Mr. Simons was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Candace Simons, Ellisville; one daughter, Mrs. B. M. (Ruby) Cook, Hattiesburg; one brother, Dewitt Simons, Lubbock, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Julis (Arie Bell) Landrum, Ovett, Mrs. Glenn (Nannie Mae) Royals, New Orleans, La., Mrs. La Fayette (Tommie) Seabolt, San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. H. O. (Rosie Lee) Moody, Mobile, Ala.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
