Amanda Taunton Minton

Reynolds -- Amanda Taunton Minton, 90, of Route 1 died Thursday in a Montezuma hospital. Born in Butler, she was the daughter of the late George Good and Gussie Harmon Taunton. She was a retired employee of the Southland Knitting Mill and the Naval Ordnance Plant.

Survivors: sister, Lilly Jones of Macon; two grandchildren, Kathi Langlois of Lawrenceville and Elaine Hortman of Buford.

Services: 4 p.m. today in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, Taylor County.

Burial: the church cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Hartley will officiate.

Edwards Funeral Home in Butler has charge of arrangements.
