Mrs. Amboline Jordan
HODGE, LA. - Services for Mrs. Amboline Jordan, 72, of Hodge, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, May 21, in Edmonds Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro, La. The Rev. Peyton Bass and the Rev. Carl Wheatley, will officiate. Burial: Hodge Cemetery.
She died Sun., May 20, 1984, in Lincoln General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jackie Hughes of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Betty Walsworth of Shreveport, and Mrs. Carole Hays of Hodge, La.; three brothers, the Rev. C. C. Wheatley of Brunswick, Georgia, Marion Wheatley of Jonesboro, and Ed Wheatley of Ruston, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Walsworth of Quitman, La., Mrs. Bobbye Brown of Bossier City, La. and Mrs. Annie Maude Caraway of Ruston, La.; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
