Graveside services for Amelia Rosialea Savell, 87, of Lufkin were held Monday, February 5, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Newman Cemetery with Brother M. L. ``Bud'' Magee officiating.

Mrs. Savell was born May 29, 1919 in Lovelady, Texas, to Leola Mae (Bolt) and Forest Lee Smith, and died Thursday, February 1, 2007 in a local hospital.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Frankie Lee and Yolanda Hudson of Refugio; daughters and sons-in-law, Gertrude and Norval Aldredge of Central, Lillie Bell and Terry Tiffany and Brenda Joyce and Bill Wise, all of Florida and Elmer Jean and Fred Bean of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Vernon Walter and Elaine Savell of Beaumont; son, Roy Wade Savell of Lufkin; 33 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pansy Moore of Clyde; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnnie Lee and Marie Smith of Brownswood and Kenneth and Ruth Smith of Morgan Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leola and Forest Smith; husband, Walter Edward Savell; and sons, Charles Ellis Hudson, Donald Ray Hudson and Tommy Ray Hudson.

Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors, was in charge of arrangements.
