Amos S. Bullock
Amos S. Bullock died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. J. Riley,
at Reliance on Sunday afternoon about 2:30 o'clock. Born on August 21st, 1860 he was 86 years, 2 months and 20 days of age.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at three o'clock at the Steep Hollow
Baptist church of which he was a member, with Rev. C. E. Bullock of Normangee
officiating. Interment was made in the Steep Hollow cemetery under the
direction of Hillier Funeral Home with four grandsons, Monroe, Robert, J. J. and Martin Riley and two great grandsons, John William and Robert Riley
Jr. serving as pallbearers.
He is survived by two daughters Mrs. J. J. Riley, Reliance, and Mrs. Henry
Beale of Goose Creek, two sons, H. N. Bullock of Sweetwater, and Robert F.
Bullock of San Angelo. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 16 great
grandchildren.
