AMOS B. ISHEE

Funeral services for Amos B. Ishee, 69, 513 Beacon St., will be held Sunday, 2 p.m. from Lebanon Baptist Church with burial in Hebron Cemetery. The Revs. A. W. Kirkland and Dee Parker will officiate. Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ishee, a native of Jasper County, died Friday morning in a Laurel hospital. He was formerly a resident of the Hebron Community and for the last 10 years lived in Laurel. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and Hebron Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Katie Walley Ishee; five daughters: Mrs. Beatrice Buckelew, Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. Lou Alice Bush, Rt. 5, Laurel; Mrs. Ida Jane Speed, Collins; Mrs. Lyda Rae Freeman, Statesboro, Ga.; Mrs. Alice Rae Knotts, Laurel; six grandchildren; five sisters: Mrs. Ona Musgrove, Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. Letha Boler, Mrs. Lela Mae Wade, both of Collins; Mrs. Thelma Morgan, Mrs. Tressie Morgan, both of Seminary; and four brothers: Velton Ishee, Hattiesburg; Pete Ishee, Luther Ishee, both of Gulfport; and John Ishee of Louisiana.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
