Amos J. Franklin

JONESVILLE -- Services for Amos J. Franklin will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Oak Grove Free Methodist Church with the Revs. R.V. Jolly, Wade Robinson, Brian Taylor and David McGuffee officiating. Burial will be in Heard Cemetery under direction of Young's.

Franklin, 85, of Jonesville died Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999.

He was a native of Olla and a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Cockerham of Jonesville five daughters, Margie Toney of Natchez, Mildred Lippman and Carolyn Butts, both of Jonesville, Shirley Goodwin of Sicily Island and Barbara Reynolds of Alexandria 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. today until time of services Monday in the church.
