Services held at Jackson for A. C. McCarty

Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Baldwin Funeral Home, Jackson, for A. C. (Mac) McCarty, 59, of Jackson, formerly of Hattiesburg.

The Rev. Kirk Ford, pastor of Eastabuchie Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mr. McCarty was manager of Mississippi Refrigeration and Supply Co.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sybil Walters McCarty; his mother, Mrs. Mamie P. McCarty of Petal; a brother, John Adam McCarty of Prairie Point, Miss., and a sister, Mrs. Zeke Powell, Sr., of Hattiesburg.

Pallbearers were Hugh Odom Jackson, and nephews, Gerald and Jerry McCarty of Houghton, La., J. Hilton Powell of Jackson and Zeke W. Powell Jr., of Hattiesburg.
